Vitek Vanecek made 33 saves in the loss as the Winnipeg Jets extended the NHL's longest active win streak to ten games with a 2-1 overtime win.

Mark Scheifele scored the overtime winner to lead the Jets to victory.

William Eklund extended his points streak to five (2G-3A-5P) with a 4 on 3 power play goal in the first period. The Sharks power play shows signs of life, with Makclin Celebrini and Will Smith recording assists on Eklund's goal.

Celebrini is now on a three-game points streak, and Smith has nine points in his last 11 games. 

Josh Morrisey scored late in the third period for the Jets. Connor Hellebuyck made 16 saves in his first start since playing for Team USA at the 4 Nations Face-Off.

Eklund scored his power-play goal after some terrific puck movement between the San Jose Sharks young stars.

Josh Morrisey tied the game 1-1 with 25.9 seconds left in the third period with his eighth goal of the season. 

Scheifele beat Vanecek through the five-hole to win it in overtime.
