New Food?

For Seattle Kraken fans, game day is about more than what happens once the puck drops.

This season, it can start with what’s on your plate.

With the regular season just over a week away, the Kraken are giving fans another reason to get excited for opening night by introducing a new lineup of food and drink options at Climate Pledge Arena. The menu leans heavily into Seattle, bringing local flavors and vendors into the arena for another part of the game-day experience.

Among the new offerings are Piroshki, Seattle dogs, beef-tallow fries and poke surf-and-turf nachos.

The goal is simple: make the arena feel like home.

Fans will be able to try the new offerings beginning Oct. 4, when the Kraken open their regular-season schedule.

And if the Kraken can’t give fans a win every night, they can at least make sure nobody leaves the arena hungry, at a cost of course.
