    Amalie Arena, FL - The Seattle Kraken will continue their back-to-back road trip in Florida with the second and final meeting of the season against the Tampa Bay Lightning. In their previous matchup on December 14, 2024, at Climate Pledge Arena, the Kraken were defeated by the Lightning. Seattle hopes to carry the momentum from Saturday night's 2-1 victory over the Florida Panthers to even the season series.

    Comparisons: 

    Tampa Bay is 80% on the penalty kill with a 18-7-2 home record and 66 points in the season.

    Seattle is 76.5% on penalty kills with a 12-15-0 away record and 54 points this season.

    Seattle Players to Watch:

    Shane Wright, Matty Beniers and Adam Larsson enter today’s contest on a three game point streak with Wright earning two assists Saturday against Florida.

    Captain Jordan Eberle is back in the lineup again tonight after being on IR following pelvic surgery. The veteran skater leads active Kraken skaters in assists (13) and points (16) in 24 career games vs. Tampa Bay.

    Nikita Kucherov is the top scorer for the Lightning with 82 points this season.

    Jake Guentzel follows in second place with 54 points (27g/27a) in 54 games with Tampa Bay. He is also tied for first for power-play goals.
