


Where did the time go?
Six months after the journey called the 2023-24 NHL season began, the Kraken play their final home game Thursday against the San Jose Sharks.
Usually, it's fans talking about Kraken players. On Fan Appreciation Night at Climate Pledge Arena, the tables were turned.
Seattle All-Star Oliver Bjorkstrand and rookie defenseman Ryker Evans, in this Kraken Reaction video, talk about their loyal supporters. Evans also speaks approvingly about the fan base in Coachella Valley, where he played last season.
Not that the Coachella Valley Firebirds seem to need it, but the Kraken AHL farm team is getting more end-of-season reinforcements.
The Firebirds have clinched the Western Division title, which entitles them to free entry into the 2nd round of the Calder Cup playoffs.
Remember, the expansion Firebirds last season surprised the league by reaching Game 7 of the AHL Final. For this postseason, they'll also be getting back Kraken callups Shane Wright, Logan Morrison, and Ryan Winterton.
