Everett, WA - Tuesday night in the WHL was peak playoff hockey—fast, fierce, and full of drama. In Everett, WA, the top-seeded Silvertips were eliminated in a nail-biting 4-2 loss to their rivals, the Portland Winterhawks, who clinched the series and punched their ticket to the Western Conference Finals.

For Everett standouts Julius Miettinen and Kaden Hammell, the postseason run may be over, but their focus now shifts to summer training and the Seattle Kraken development camp in July.

Miettinen, who scored the overtime winner in Game 2 of the series, recorded 6 goals and 3 assists in 13 playoff appearances. Despite being limited to 36 games this season due to a lower-body injury sustained at the World Juniors—where he represented Finland—the Helsinki native still tallied 39 points (11G, 28A) in regular-season action.

Captain Kyle Chyzowski is also heating up, ranking second in playoff goals with 11, including a four-game goal streak capped by a Game 4 hat trick against Everett.
