Forward returned to St. Louis for birth of child, unknown if he will rejoin end of trip for game vs. Nashville
St. Louis Blues forward Pavel Buchnevich will not play on Thursday against the Minnesota Wild after returning to St. Louis for the birth of his child.
The Blues will provide an update on his return to the lineup when it becomes available, which means it is unknown at this time whether he will return for the end of the road trip on Saturday against the Nashville Predators.
Buchnevich will be replaced in the lineup by Zach Dean, who was a healthy scratch on Tuesday in a 7-2 win against the Ottawa Senators.
Buchnevich is coming off a three-assist game on Tuesday and has a goal and four assists and is a plus-3 in six games to begin the season.
