Several St. Louis Blues top players find themselves on NHL.com’s Fantasy Hockey top 200 players for the 2024-25 season. But only one cracked the top 100.
Center Robert Thomas is the lone player on the team in the top 100. Listed at No. 87, Thomas finished 21st in league scoring last season with 86 points, and his 60 assists tied for 15th.
Eclipsing the 80-point threshold marks him as a fantasy option for those who require a point producer on their fantasy hockey team. The main reason Thomas isn’t higher on this list is for multiple reasons.
Firstly, he isn’t a high-volume shooter, and with shots being a key statistical category in fantasy, this lowers his value. The other reason is that he rarely throws the body. Thomas’ 16 hits were the fewest on the team amongst players with a minimum of 30 games played last season.
Next up on the list at No. 115 is the team’s No. 1 goaltender, Jordan Binnington.

Binnington ranked 14th among goaltenders on NHL.com’s list. The 2019 Stanley Cup winner had a bit of a resurgence in his play between the pipes in 2023-24 and could be a dark horse as a late-round selection for some lucky fantasy hockey participants.
Now, if he takes a step backward, don’t sleep on Joel Hofer potentially coming in and taking more starts away from Binnington.
Recently extended Russian winger Pavel Buchnevich found himself at No. 128. He hasn’t produced at the clip of Robert Thomas, but he gets pucks on net more and provides a bit more value in the hit category.
The last Blues player on NHL.com’s top fantasy hockey players list is Jordan Kyrou at No. 144. Kyrou saw his goals and points dip a little last season. However, you can still bet on him to score 30 goals and 70 points a season.
Just like Thomas, he doesn’t throw many hits. That is a reason why fantasy owners will avoid him. But, he makes up for it by being a much more high-volume shooter than Thomas and Buchnevich, and in some games, he’ll go off for six-plus shots, which is great for head-to-head matchups in fantasy.
Former St. Louis sniper Vladimir Tarasenko was ranked 139th, five spots ahead of Kyrou, and another former Blues player, Dakota Joshua, was listed at 142 mainly due to his value as a hitter.
No St. Louis defensemen were listed, although Justin Faulk arguably should have been considering he does it all when it comes to fantasy stats (points, shots, hits, blocks).
