St. Louis Blues forward Jake Neighbours has had a decent season overall. In 60 games, the 2020 first-round pick has 15 goals and 29 points. This was after the Blues winger set new career highs with 27 goals and 39 points in 77 games this past season.

However, like young players often do, Neighbours has had some cold stretches during this campaign. From Jan. 31 to Feb. 22, the 6-foot forward failed to record a point in seven consecutive games. However, he has broken the ice in a big way since then.

Neighbours snapped his seven-game point drought during the Blues' Feb. 25 matchup against the Seattle Kraken, scoring a goal and adding an assist. Then, on Feb. 27 against the Washington Capitals, he also had a goal and an assist. He also has posted an impressive plus-5 rating over those two games.

Seeing Neighbours starting to heat up offensively is very encouraging. The 22-year-old is one of the Blues' most promising young forwards and is viewed as a key part of their future.

It will be interesting to see how Neighbours builds on his hot streak from here. If he keeps this kind of offense up, it would undoubtedly benefit a Blues team that is looking to turn their season around.
