
'Snuggy Snipes' continues to be a thing, not just for the University of Minnesota hockey team but also for those following the St. Louis Blues.
The No. 23 pick of the 2022 NHL Draft and Blues prospect continues to fill the net this season and was named the Big Ten's First Star of the Week on Tuesday:
The 20-year-old is second in the nation for goals with 15, behind Michigan State's Charlie Stramel and Wisconsin's Quinn Finley and tied for second in scoring with 33 points with Finley, behind Stramel's 36 points, after the Golden Gophers defeated the Fighting Irish, 5-2 in Friday when Snuggerud scored twice in a five-goal first period. He then scored once on Saturday in a 4-3 loss.
His first goal Friday was off a rebound to tie the game 1-1:
