After taking a nice step forward during the 2024-25 season, the St. Louis Blues brought in some new players this off-season to boost their roster. Among their most notable newcomers are Pius Suter, Nick Bjugstad, and Logan Mailloux.

With this, let's take a look at where each player should fit into the Blues' lineup during the 2025-26 season.

    Pius Suter: Third-Line Center

When looking at the Blues' current roster, Pius Suter should be a nice fit as their new third-line center. Yet, what's great about a player like Suter is that he is very versatile, so he could also work on either wing if ever needed.

However, it's most likely that Suter will play down the middle for the Blues, as that is their biggest need. If he is not their 3C, the possibility of him being their second-line center should not be ruled out.

    Nick Bjugstad: Fourth-Line Center

After losing Radek Faksa to the Dallas Stars through free agency, the Blues brought in Nick Bjugstad to a two-year contract with an average annual value of $1.75 million cap hit. With this, Bjugstad should replace Faksa as the Blues' new 4C. However, like Suter, he can also play the wing, so he could help the Blues in this area as well.

Logan Mailloux: Right Side Of Bottom Pairing

The Blues made a notable trade this off-season, as they acquired Logan Mailloux from the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for Zack Bolduc. With this, the Blues have brought in a former first-round pick for their blueline.

Mailloux should start the year on the right side of the Blues' bottom pairing, but he could get a more significant role if he continues to trend in the right direction with his development.

The 2022 first-round pick left a nice first impression after joining the Blues, as he recorded one goal, three assists, and four points in seven regular-season games. He then followed that up with two goals, four points, and a plus-2 rating in seven playoff games for St. Louis this spring.
