This Lightning forward dropped the gloves against the Jets.

During the Tampa Bay Lightning's most recent matchup against the Winnipeg Jets, Bolts forward Zemgus Girgensons stood up for teammate Luke Glendening.
After Logan Stanley landed a huge open-ice hit on Glendening, Girgensons immediately skated up to the hard-nosed defender and fought him.
Girgensons certainly took on a very tough challenger, as Stanley is listed at 6-foot-7 and 231 pounds. He is also known for his toughness, but Girgensons still made sure to stand up for his teammate.

That's the kind of play that should gain Girgensons more respect from his new Lightning teammates.
