Tampa Bay Lightning's Brayden Point ranked 10th on the NHL Network's top 20 centers list.
The 29-year-old is one of the most consistent centers in the NHL, notching over 40 goals and a point per game in three consecutive seasons. Although Point is a force to be reckoned with offensively, he provides plenty of value defensively.
He's a smart positional center, but also uses his speed and relentless nature to hunt down loose pucks. Point was phenomenal in the Lightning's back-to-back Stanley Cup wins and could have changed the outcome of the finals when they lost to the Colorado Avalanche.
His injury gave the Avalanche a large advantage up in the middle, and his presence could have made things tougher for Colorado defensively and for Nathan MacKinnon.
Point's 42 goals and 82 points were enough for the Calgary native to land at No.8 on the rankings, finishing behind Auston Matthews, Jack Eichel, Sidney Crosby, Aleksander Barkov, Leon Draisaitl, MacKinnon and Connor McDavid.

"Point has scored at least 40 goals each of the past three seasons, including 42 goals and 82 points in 77 games in 2024-25, when he scored his 300th NHL goal in the Lightning's 8-0 win against the Utah on March 27. He had a goal and an assist at 4 Nations and was named to Team Canada's preliminary roster for the Olympics," wrote the NHL Network.
Point is the fourth Lightning player to feature on any of the NHL Network rankings, joining Nikita Kucherov, Jake Guentzel and Brandon Hagel, who featured on the wingers list, and Victor Hedman, who featured on the defenseman's list.
