Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman J.J. Moser has not played since Dec. 12's matchup against the Calgary Flames. The 24-year-old suffered a lower-body injury during that matchup and was limited to only 12:23 of ice time.

The Lightning have undoubtedly missed Moser, but now they have gotten some great news regarding the blueliner. While speaking to the Tampa Bay Times' Eduardo A. Encina, Moser said that he expects to return for the Bolts' Feb. 23 matchup against the Seattle Kraken.

Moser returning to the lineup is significant for the Lightning, as he has emerged as a massive part of the blueline this season. He has played top-pairing minutes with Victor Hedman and spent time on both of their special-team units. Thus, they will be getting a serious boost once he is back on the ice.

In 27 games this season with the Lightning, Moser has two goals, 10 points, and a plus-13 rating.
