This Lightning forward will not be in the lineup against the Rangers.
Tampa Bay Lightning head coach Jon Cooper has announced that forward Mikey Eyssimont will not be in the lineup against the New York Rangers. He also shared that the gritty forward is currently deemed day-to-day.
Eyssimont, 28, has appeared in 31 games this season, posting three goals, two assists, 28 penalty minutes, and 37 hits. This is after he set career highs this past season with 11 goals, 14 assists, and 25 points in 81 games with the Bolts.
Mikey EyssimontEyssimont being sidelined is undoubtedly not the best news for the Lightning, as his high-energy style of play benefits the club's bottom six. Here's to hoping that he does not need to miss more time after this contest against the Blueshirts from here.
