Nick Perbix's time with the Tampa Bay Lightning has officially come to an end.

After hitting the market as an unrestricted free agent (UFA), Perbix has signed a two-year, $5.5 million contract with the Nashville Predators.

It was confirmed shortly before the start of free agency that Perbix would become a UFA. Now, he has found his new home and will look to help the Predators get things back on track from here.

Perbix, 27, spent each of the last three seasons with the Lightning. In 220 games as a Bolt, he recorded 13 goals, 50 assists, 63 points, and a plus-27 rating. This included six goals, 19 points, and a plus-8 rating in 74 contests this past campaign.

When looking at the Predators' roster, Perbix should be a solid addition to their group. It was no secret that they needed help on their right side, and Perbix should be a nice fit in their top four because of it.
