On Monday, the Tampa Bay Lightning posted the locker room stalls for their new players. With this, we now know their official numbers with the Bolts.

Top free-agent signing Jake Guentzel will sport his usual No. 59 with the Lightning. Guentzel has worn No. 59 throughout the entirety of his career, both with the Pittsburgh Penguins and Carolina Hurricanes. The last player to wear No. 59 on the Lightning was defenseman Jake Dotchin.

Cam Atkinson wore No. 89 while with the Philadelphia Flyers, but he won't with the Lightning, even though it is available. Instead, Atkinson is returning to No. 13, the number he wore with the Columbus Blue Jackets. The last player to rock No. 13 for the Lightning was Boris Katchouk in 2021-22.

Defenseman J.J. Moser will wear No. 90 for the Lightning, just like he did with the Arizona Coyotes. Goaltender Matt Tomkins wore the number last season for the Lightning, so he will be making a number change for 2024-25.

For the first time in his 10-year career, Zemgus Girgensons may be on a different team than the Buffalo Sabres, but he will continue to wear No. 28 with the Lightning. Defenseman Jack Thompson is the last player to wear the number for the Bolts. He was traded to the San Jose Sharks last season as a part of the trade package to acquire Anthony Duclair.
