An old proverb goes, "A team is as strong as its weakest link."
In the first two months of the NHL season, one could very well make the case that Tampa Bay Lightning backup goaltender Jonas Johansson has been one of the club's weakest links. Johansson has been unable to replicate his early performance from last season, and his stat line has suffered. However, it is not all bad, as the backup goaltender is coming off a win against the Nashville Predators.
There has not been much for Johansson to be proud of this season. Yet, it looks like things might be trending back in the right direction after his latest performance over the Predators. The 29-year-old goaltender notched 28 saves on 30 shots against the Predators to collect his second win of the season.

Before this matchup, the Swedish netminder put forth a record of 1-1-1 record and a .856 save percentage (SV%) in his first four appearances. With this turnaround effort, Johansson improved to a .871 SV% for the season.
Lightning fans could see Johansson back in the net next when the Lightning take on the San Jose Sharks on Dec 5th.
