The Tampa Bay Lightning picked up an impressive 4-1 win over the Winnipeg Jets on Nov. 14. With this, Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy made some NHL history.

Vasilevskiy recorded his 300th career NHL win in this matchup and became the fastest goalie to hit the milestone in NHL history. It took the 2012 first-round pick only 490 games to reach his 300th win.

Hockey legend Jacques Plante previously held the record, recording his 300th win in his 521st NHL game. Vasilevskiy also achieved this feat faster than goalies like Sergei Bobrovsky (541 games), Andy Moog (543 games), Marc-Andre Fleury (547 games), and Martin Brodeur (548 games).

This shows how outstanding of a career Vasilevskiy has had, and at 30 years old, he still has plenty of time to build on it from here.
