The Tampa Bay Lightning are facing off against the Anaheim Ducks tonight. The Bolts are looking to extend their winning streak to three games, but this contest has another notable storyline to follow.

This game will be the first time where former Lightning forward Alex Killorn will be playing in Tampa Bay since joining the Ducks this offseason. The longtime Lightning winger is expected to receive a big ovation from the hometown crowd, as he was a key part of their roster for many seasons.

Killorn, 34, was selected by the Lightning with the 77th overall pick of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. From there, he spent 11 seasons with the Lightning, from 2012-13 to 2022-23. In 805 career regular-season games with the club, he had 198 goals and 466 points. He also posted 37 goals and 77 points in 140 playoff games and won the Stanley Cup twice.

Killorn is off to a solid season with the Ducks, as he has four goals and 17 points in 31 games played. He will now look to increase those totals against his former club in what should be an emotional night for him.
