    The limited edition bobblehead recreates Matthews' NHL Draft moment in Buffalo eight years ago.

    As the 2024 NHL Draft kicked off a historic moment last week at the MSG Sphere in Las Vegas, one of the Toronto Maple Leafs' most memorable draft moments was immortalized.

    Bobblehead maker FOCO released a limited edition Auston Matthews 2016 NHL Draft bobblehead last week as part of their NHL Draft Pick Collection of current and retired NHL star players.

    On June 24, 2016, the Toronto Maple Leafs selected Matthews with their first pick in the 2016 Draft. He was just the second Leaf ever to be selected with a first-overall pick (Wendel Clark (1985).

    In eight seasons in the NHL, Matthews is already the most decorated Maple Leaf of all time regarding individual awards. With 368 goals and 281 assists in 562 games, Matthews won the Hart Trophy in 2022. He's won three of the last four Rocket Richard trophies which includes a Leafs record 69 goals in 2023-24 and he became the first NHL player to score four goals in his first NHL game on Oct. 12, 2016

    The Matthews bobblehead stands at eight inches tall with a limited run of 224 and for those looking at wanting to pick it up, it'll cost $80US or $111CDN.
