The NHL and Fanatics showed off the new-look jerseys, and there won't be much in terms of design change for the Maple Leafs.
From a distance, the casual fan won't see much difference when the Toronto Maple Leafs wear their new jerseys for the 2024-25 season.
The NHL switched from previous jersey manufacturer Adidas to Fanatics for the upcoming season and the league unveiled the new look on Wednesday morning.
The Leafs jerseys look identical to last year.
As part of the release, Fanatics invited Auston Matthews to check out the jerseys for next season. In a four-minute video, Matthews is shown jerseys from his childhood favourites in Alex Ovechkin, Danny Briere and Patrick Kane. After seeing those kits, Matthews is then shown his new jersey for the upcoming season.
"It never gets old looking at this," he said.
The Adidas design had dimples along the shoulder. That's gone in the Fanatics jerseys.
Some of the other design changes for this season include.

“Fanatics did a great job designing these jerseys," Matthews said in a release. "They feel comfortable and look breathable, which is important during games. Any little detail that can help us perform at our best makes a difference.”
The jerseys are expected to be unveiled this week at the 2024 NHL Draft.

"I think the fabric is fantastic. It feels nice and will fit really good with our gear on.' Maple Leafs captain John Tavares said in a statement. "On the inside of our jerseys, it reads ‘Honour, Pride, and Courage.’ It’s that type of attention to detail and quality that will hold true through the jerseys too. Wearing the Maple Leaf is incredibly special, and I look forward to putting the new jerseys on for this upcoming season.”
