Paul said on Saturday that he couldn't announce who the player was yet.
Prime Hydration may have signed a Maple Leafs player, but we don't know who.
Founders of the hydration beverage, and YouTube stars, KSI and Logan Paul had a meet-and-greet in Toronto at Nathan Phillips Square on Saturday. And that's where Paul announced they've signed a Maple Leafs player to a sponsorship.
"We may have just signed someone from the Toronto Maple Leafs to Prime," Paul said to a crowd of fans in Toronto. "I can't say who it is yet but be on the lookout because we got another big signing."
Following the announcement by Paul, a number of people in the crowd started shouting out the names of Toronto's players, to which Paul said someone said the name.
Prime Hydration has signed a number of athletes to sponsorships, including the UFC fighters Alex Volkanovski and Israel Adesanya. The company has also sponsored Manchester City striker Erling Haaland and Aston Villa Women's forward Alisha Lehmann.
There have been plenty of predictions on X about which Maple Leafs player has signed with Prime. The three that come to mind are Auston Matthews, Max Domi, and Mitch Marner.
Marner currently is sponsored by Red Bull, which could suggest that it's not him. That is, though, unless his deal with the energy drink company is coming to an end.
