Paul hinted that Prime had signed a Maple Leafs player while in Toronto on Saturday.
Auston Matthews is the latest star athlete to sign with Prime Hydration, a company founded by YouTubers KSI and Logan Paul.
While in Toronto this weekend, Paul teased that the company "may have" signed someone from the Maple Leafs.
"I can't say who it is yet but be on the lookout because we got another big signing," he continued.
Matthews becomes the latest star athlete to be sponsored by Prime. The company also has sponsorships with the UFC's Alex Volkanovski and Israel Adesanya, plus Manchester City striker Erling Haaland and Aston Villa Women's forward Alisha Lehmann.
Matthews is the first NHL player to sign with the hydration beverage company. Prime is also the Official Sports Drink of the UFC.
This adds to Matthews' collection of endorsements that also include RBC and BET99.
"I've always tried to pick and choose and be comfortable with the product, the company," Matthews said on Wednesday about why this sponsorship made sense. "It was nice to have something like this come along and it seems like a cool opportunity, so I'm excited about it."
The 26-year-old Maple Leafs star signed a four-year extension worth $53 million with the club in August, making him the highest-paid player in the NHL on an average annual basis at $13.25 million.
