Cowan's 35-game point streak continues to be the longest in London Knights history.

Easton Cowan continues his historic point streak with the London Knights.

The 18-year-old extended his point streak to 35 games on Friday night against the Windsor Spitfires and now has the second-longest point streak in the OHL within the last 30 years.

He only trails Bill Bowler, who played for the Spitfires in 1994-95 and had a 41-game point streak. Cowan is now up to 94 points (33 goals, 61 assists) in 53 games this season, which is good enough for seventh in the OHL.

The Maple Leafs drafted Cowan in the first round (28th overall) in the 2023 NHL draft. He was considered a reach at the time, but impressed many throughout development camp, the Traverse City Prospects Tournament, and Toronto's training camp.

During his 35-game point streak, Cowan has 24 goals and 42 assists for 66 points. He also holds the record for the longest point streak in London Knights history.

Toronto signed him to an entry-level deal on Aug. 10 that carries an annual average value of $935,833.

"We got a real good player on the come (up)," Maple Leafs GM Brad Treliving said when Toronto sent Cowan back to London on Oct. 10.
