TAMPA, Fla. — The Toronto Maple Leafs will visit the Boston Bruins in the opening game of their 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs and we now know that Game 1 will be on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET at TD Garden.

Sportsnet confirmed the date and time of the game during their broadcast of the Maple Leafs final regular season game on Wednesday against the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Hockey Night in Canada broadcast will begin with a 7:30 p.m. ET pre-game show.

The rest of the schedule is set to be released no later than after the regular season concludes on Thursday night.

The Maple Leafs and Bruins will meet in the first round for the fourth time in 12 years. Boston has won all three of the previous series, all of which required seven games.

The NHL released the official schedule of all four Eastern Conference opening-round games. Viewers in Canada can broadcast or stream the game on Sportsnet and CBC. American viewers can watch and stream the game on TBS, TruTV and MAX.
