Andre 3000 performed at Camp Flog Gnaw last weekend, an annual American music festival in Los Angeles.

Over the previous months, famous musicians have donned Toronto Maple Leafs gear as they take the stage for a performance. In the summer, rapper ‘50 Cent’ and singer-songwriter Sabrina Carpenter were two of the notable names to do so.

This past weekend, rapper ‘Andre 3000,’ one of two members of the hip-hop group, OutKast, was the latest music maker to represent the blue and white and Maple Leafs emblem. As seen on the ‘campfloggnaw’ Instagram page, the rapper performed a set wearing a throwback Mitch Marner No. 16 T Arenas jersey, last worn by the team during the 2017-18 season.

Andre 3000 attended Camp Flog Gnaw, an annual American music festival in Los Angeles at the Dodger Stadium Grounds curated by Tyler, the Creator. His appearance in Leafs gear comes as part of a growing trend of music stars showcasing their love for the sport.

It’s unclear if the 49-year-old is a hockey fan himself or simply appreciated the retro look of the jersey, but either way, musicians seem to have a connection to Maple Leafs gear.

The Atlanta native was in Toronto at the end of June, performing for the Toronto Jazz Fest at Massey Hall following the release of his new album ‘New Blue Sun.’ His choice to wear a Maple Leafs sweater may reflect a rapport with the city that welcomed him earlier this year.

The question is, which musician will be the next to rep the Maple Leafs?
