The Toronto Maple Leafs have parted ways with longtime team physician Dr. Noah Forman, according to a report. Toronto Blue Jays team physician Dr. David Lawrence will now lead that department.

Toronto Maple Leafs GM has really left his imprint on the organization since he was hired on May 3, along with senior executive advisor Mats Sundin. There have been wholesale changes to the coaching staff, the front office, the development team, and many other areas of the franchise.

A report on Monday from the Toronto Sun's Steve Simmons shares that Chayka isn't done shaping the organization, as the Maple Leafs have parted ways with Dr. Noah Forman.

Dr. Forman was the team's physician for 20 years, Simmons reported. He was also the medical director for the Toronto Marlies, the Maple Leafs' AHL affiliate club.

According to the Maple Leafs' staff directory, here is who remains in the organization in the medical department:

Medical director: Dr. John Theodoropoulos
Primary care sports medicine physician: Dr. David Lawrence
Head athletic therapist: Paul Ayotte
Assistant athletic therapists: Neill Davidson, John-Paul Laciak and Amit Sindhwani
Massage therapist, osteopathic practitioner: Todd Bean
Team dentists: Dr. Allan Katchky, Dr. Ali Khadivi and Dr. Marvin Lean
Mental health consultant: Dr. Marie Claire Bourque
Mental performance consultant: Shawn Zeplin

Dr. Forman was previously the head team physician and medical director, but those services and responsibilities will shift to Dr. David Lawrence to some degree.

Dr. Lawrence has been the lead team primary care physician of the MLB's Toronto Blue Jays for well over eight years. He'll now be a part of the Maple Leafs' organization.
