The NHL has a deadline of 5 p.m. ET to extend qualifying offers to impending free agents.

It's qualifying-offer Monday, where NHL teams have until 5 p.m. ET to tender offers to retain the rights of their restricted free agents.

According to The Athletic's Chris Johnston and Jonas Siegel, forwards Nick Robertson and Jacob Quillan and newly acquired defenseman Emil Andrae have received qualifying offers from the Leafs.

Robertson was eligible for a qualifying offer of 100 percent of the $1.825 million he earned in 2025-26. The 24-year-old had 16 goals and 16 assists in 78 games and is arbitration eligible.

The Leafs narrowly avoided arbitration with Robertson, agreeing to the one-year deal before the hearing was scheduled to begin.

The 24-year-old Quillan had one goal and two assists in 23 games last season. He was on a two-year deal worth $1.75 million.

Andrae, 24, was recently acquired by the Maple Leafs in the trade that sent goaltender Joseph Woll and Simon Benoit to the Philadelphia Flyers. The move was seen as the first step by GM John Chayka in remaking the look of the club's defense. The move was a no-brainer with his qualifying offer set at $874,125.

The bigger question for the Leafs now is what they do with RFA Matias Maccelli. Acquired by the Leafs from the Utah Mammoth last season, the forward had 14 goals and 25 assists in 71 games. The 25-year-old forward's contract was structured with a high salary in the final year, putting his qualifying offer at $4,110,000, per PuckPedia.com

The clock is ticking...
