Mitch Marner continues hold skating sessions with skills staff as the Toronto Maple Leafs forward works toward a return to the ice.
Before the club's morning skate ahead of their game against the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday, Marner skated with Leafs skills coaches Denver Manderson and Nik Antropov as he continued work through a high-ankle sprain suffered during Toronto's 4-1 loss to the Boston Bruins on March 7.
Marner is day-to-day, but given he's still doing solo sessions, the forward is not expected to be in the lineup on Tuesday. Once he joins the club for practice sessions, there will be a clearer path to when he could return.
Marner has 25 goals and 51 assists in 62 games this season with the Maple Leafs.
