Toronto Maple Leafs goaltending prospect Dennis Hildeby took part in his first practice with the club on Monday.

The 6-foot-7 Swedish goalie was called up as Joseph Woll remains out with a high-ankle injury sustained on Dec. 7 and Ilya Samsonov's ongoing struggles in the net.

Hildeby stepped onto the ice and was immediately greeted by goaltender Martin Jones and goalie coach Curtis Sanford.

Hildeby was then put through the gauntlet and the Leafs worked on several drills before the team flew out to California to begin a three-game road trip.
