The Swedish goaltending prospect was called up by the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday.
Toronto Maple Leafs goaltending prospect Dennis Hildeby took part in his first practice with the club on Monday.
The 6-foot-7 Swedish goalie was called up as Joseph Woll remains out with a high-ankle injury sustained on Dec. 7 and Ilya Samsonov's ongoing struggles in the net.
Below is some footage of the goaltender facing NHL-level shots in a mid-season practice for the very first time:

Hildeby stepped onto the ice and was immediately greeted by goaltender Martin Jones and goalie coach Curtis Sanford.
Hildeby was then put through the gauntlet and the Leafs worked on several drills before the team flew out to California to begin a three-game road trip.
Hildeby concluded by taking more shots from the Maple Leafs.
