The Toronto Maple Leafs are preparing to be without defensemen John Klingberg and Conor Timmins, but worked on a lot of things during their last practice before taking on the Detroit Red Wings.

The Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman has struggled through his first 13 games of the season. Head coach Sheldon Keefe says the player is injured and working through some things.

Barring anything unforeseen on Toronto's off day on Thursday, the club's lineup for their game against the Detroit Red Wings in Stockholm, Sweden, is essentially set.

John Klingberg is expected to miss Friday's game due to an undisclosed injury that took him out their game against the Calgary Flames last week. Conor Timmins is progressively nicely from a long-term lower-body injury he suffered during the pre-season and could return to the lineup on Sunday.
