One of Toronto or Boston can advance to the second round with a win on Saturday night.
If the Maple Leafs win Game 7 in Boston on Saturday, their next stop will be in Florida for Game 1 of the second round on Monday.
The NHL announced the start dates of the second round on Thursday night following Toronto's Game 6 win against the Boston Bruins.
"The Second Round series between the Florida Panthers and either the Boston Bruins or Toronto Maple Leafs will begin on Monday, May 6, in Sunrise, Fla," per the NHL. "The start time and national broadcast information for Game 1 will be announced when available."
If the Maple Leafs advance to the second round, it will be the second straight year where they play the Florida Panthers after getting through the first round. Toronto eliminated the Tampa Bay Lightning in six games before losing their series against Florida 4-1.
The Maple Leafs defeated the Bruins in Game 6 on Thursday 2-1, with two goals from William Nylander and an impressive showing by Joseph Woll in net, forcing a Game 7 in Boston on Saturday. If Toronto wins, it'll be the second straight year where the Bruins' opponent has returned from being 3-1 down to win the series.
Game 7 is set for just after 8 p.m. ET inside TD Garden in Boston.
