    William Nylander, Mitch Marner and Morgan Rielly will join Auston Matthews as participants in the 2024 NHL All-Star Game that will take place on Feb. 3 at Scotiabank Arena, the NHL announced on Saturday.

    An online vote determined the 12 players that would join the initial lot of 32 players previously announced for the exhibition showcase

    Nylander and Rielly will take part in an All-Star Game for the very first time. The 27-year-old Nylander led all skaters with 1,393,578 online votes, the NHL announced. He leads the Maple Leafs this season with 57 points (21 goals and 36 assists) in 39 games.

    Marner returns to the event after receiving 946,154 votes. He has 17 goals and 28 assists in 39 games this season.

    Rielly will also be a first-timer for the event, squeaking in with 830,480 votes.

    "Just grateful to be part of the team, you can't do it without your teammates," Rielly told Sportsnet's pre-game broadcast on Saturday before his team took on the Colorado Avalanche.

    Rielly has five goals and 27 assists in 39 games this season.

    Matthews and Nylander were also confirmed as two of the 12 participants that will take in the NHL All-Star Skills competition will see a winner-take-all prize of $1 million be awarded. Both were two of the first 10 announced while fans can vote for the remaining two participants, including Marner and Rielly.

    Voting is now open online at NHL.com/vote and via X (formerly Twitter) and closes on Thursday, Jan. 18, at 11:59:59 p.m. EST. All X votes will be combined with online vote totals.
