Like everybody else, Alex Nylander is interested in watching Amazon's new series, 'FACEOFF: Inside the NHL', which followed his brother, William, during the first round of the playoffs in April.

The 26-year-old, who signed an AHL deal with the Marlies earlier this summer, was in Toronto with his brother when Amazon was filming the series. Although William's brother was in the background of some shots, he got a firsthand look at what's to come when the series releases on Prime Video on Oct. 4.

On Wednesday, after a short turnaround after playing the night prior in Ottawa, Alex was asked about the series, and what to expect to see about William off the ice.

"That's going to be interesting. You'll see. Obviously, it was filmed during playoffs, so it's not like much was going on, there was a lot of focus on that," Alex said. "You'll see a little fun side of him, and he's obviously a little different off the ice, and a chill guy. It'll be fun to see. I'm curious too as well."

Over the years, it's been well-documented that William loves his dogs, Pablo and Banksy. There are countless dog walks that the 28-year-old goes on during the Amazon series.

And now, with Alex living with William, he's also taking the two dogs for walks.

"Right now, I'm taking care of the dogs when he's not there and they're awesome and really easy to take care of. It's really nice," Alex said.

On Monday, Amazon held an event where the media got a firsthand look at the new series before it airs in October. William also spoke at the event, admitting that some scenes didn't make the cut.

"When I was hurt they were watching one of the games at home, I had a huge box of Krispy Kreme donuts," William said with a grin. "I guess I didn't make the cut."

After being asked how much William loves his two dogs, Alex was questioned about the Maple Leafs forward's love for Krispy Kreme donuts.

"He likes them a lot too," Alex smiled.
