The entire Marlies coaching staff didn't have their contracts renewed in May after losing to the Rochester Americans in the third round of the playoffs.

Each of the three former Marlies coaches — Greg Moore, A.J. MacLean, and John Snowden — have all found new homes.

All three coaches exited the organization after a successful regular season which saw the Marlies take home the North Division title. However, in the playoffs, Toronto wasn't able to find that same success.

Skipping the first round because of winning the division, the Marlies then played the Utica Comets, eliminating them in four games. After that, Toronto took on the Rochester Americans and got swept in just three games, ending their Calder Cup playoff bid.

Former head coach, Greg Moore, who joined the organization in 2019 following Sheldon Keefe's promotion to the Maple Leafs, is headed back to the U.S. National Team Development Program as a head coach.

The 39-year-old will serve as head coach of the U.S. National Under-17 Team for the 2023-24 season. Before joining Toronto, Moore was the head coach of the USHL's Chicago Steel from 2018-2020.

A.J. MacLean, who was with the Marlies for eight seasons, winning a Calder Cup with the team in 2018, joins the Syracuse Crunch as an assistant coach.

The 39-year-old, prior to coaching in Toronto, was an assistant coach with the OHL's Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds from 2013-2015.

John Snowden, who was promoted to assistant coach of the Marlies in 2021, has joined the Lehigh Valley Phantoms as an assistant coach.

The 41-year-old joined Toronto after winning the Kelly Cup with the ECHL's Newfoundland Growlers in their inaugural season. Prior to coaching with the Growlers, Snowden was an assistant with the ECHL's Orlando Solar Bears.

Each of the Marlies' former coaches find homes following Toronto's announcement that they've hired a head coach in John Gruden, and assistants in Michael Dyck and Eric Wellwood.

The Marlies season opens up in Toronto on October 14th vs. Rochester.
