Mitch Marner is a married man.
The 26-year-old Toronto Maple Leafs forward tied the knot with long-time girlfriend and fiancée Stephanie LaChance on Saturday. The couple had been together since meeting at a high school basketball game in 2015 and had been dating ever since.
When we caught up with Marner earlier this month at his Marner Assist Foundation gala, he mentioned he'd spent most of his time talking to teammates about getting them into town for a wedding.
It looks like he succeeded.
Maple Leafs teammates of Marner both past and present, including New York Islanders forward Matt Martin and his wife Sydney, who captured much of the event on her Instagram account.
Former teammates Martin, Tyler Bozak, Jake Gardiner, James van Riemsdyk, Nazem Kadri, Connor Brown and Connor Carrick were just a handful of former Maple Leafs in attendance.
Auston Matthews and Morgan Rielly are just some of Marner's current teammates who also attended.

Of course, it wouldn't be a wedding without Marner's chocolate lab Zeus.

Marner's summer also included a special stage appearance in Toronto with LaChance at a Shania Twain concert.
