As the fallout continues following Kyle Dubas’ stunning exit from the Maple Leafs GM post, his grandmother, Marietta, and her popular Twitter account wasted no time in weighing in.

If you are a fan of Kyle Dubas’ work, then there is no doubt you are familiar with the former Toronto Maple Leafs GM's grandmother Marietta and her Twitter account.

Rarely a day went by when @GrammaDubie didn't weigh in on the team's performance. On Friday, the Maple Leafs dismissed Kyle from his post as general manager of the club and Gramma Dubie wasted no time in retweeting tweets in support of her grandson.

One user, replying to the Leafs' press release of GM's parting of ways asked if they could keep Gramma Dubie to which she replied "No Way!!!"

She also replied to another Twitter user's take that the wrong executive was fired.

And she also replied to The Athletic writer James Mirtle's tweet of his article on the fallout behind the decision to move on from Dubas and the fallout with a "Can't wait!!!" response.

On Friday, the Maple Leafs announced that they were parting ways with their GM of five years in a dramatic twist that followed Dubas' end-of-season media availability on Monday. During Dubas' availability, he talked about the toll the position had taken on his family.

Following Dubas' dismissal, Maple Leafs President and Alternate governor Brendan Shanahan went into great detail about the timeline of events that led to the decision, including some sort of last-minute change of contract demands. Dubas' has yet to tell his side of the story.

The Leafs have begun the process to find a new GM manager. Jason Spezza, who served as a special assistant to Dubas, tendered his resignation in the wake of Toronto's decision not to renew the GM.
