The Maple Leafs and Drake are swapping dates at Scotiabank Arena in October
The Toronto Maple Leafs have announced a change to the club's pre-season schedule.
A game against the Detroit Red Wings that was originally scheduled for Oct. 6, 2023, has been rescheduled to Oct. 5, 2023. The game will start at 7 p.m. ET
The move is a direct swap with Canadian recording artist Drake, who is scheduled for two shows at Scotiabank Arena around the same time. Drake 'It's All A Blur' tour will now be playing back-to-back dates at the venue on Oct. 6 and Oct. 7.
No reason was given for the switch and all tickets purchased for the Oct. 6 game will be honored for the Oct. 5 date.

Sunday, September 24 at Ottawa Canadian Tire Centre (Ottawa, ON)
Monday, September 25 vs. Ottawa Scotiabank Arena (Toronto, ON)
Wednesday, September 27 vs. Buffalo Joe Thornton Community Centre (, ON)
