Murray hasn't played since he sustained a concussion against Detroit on April 2.

Maple Leafs GM Brad Treliving revealed some unfortunate news about goaltender Matt Murray during Toronto's media day on Wednesday.
The 29-year-old goaltender has dealt with numerous injuries since he was acquired by the Maple Leafs last summer. However, this one seems like the most significant of them all.
"With Matt Murray, Matt has worked closely with our medical team, our performance team over the spring and summer and it's been determined that Matt's going to require significant surgery which will require significant rehab," Treliving told the media in an opening statement on Wednesday morning.
"That's going to take place in the next week. For Matt's privacy, I'm just going to leave it at that. I'll be happy to update everybody once we're through that and once Matt's through it. It's been determined for a while now that he'd have to go down this path and we're looking forward to getting him better and on the path to recovery."
Murray, after just one game last season, suffered an adductor injury, which kept him out of the Maple Leafs lineup for a month. Then in late January, Toronto head coach Sheldon Keefe said Murray was dealing with an ankle injury. The 29-year-old didn't play after that until March 4.
He played seven games before sustaining a concussion against the Detroit Red Wings on April 2.
Treliving, though, did reveal on Wednesday that the surgery that's needed has something to do with an injury from last year.
"The surgical procedure will be something that he was dealing with," Treliving said. "He aggravated some stuff over the summer, but what he's going through was something he was dealing with prior."
Murray's $4.6875 million cap hit will remain on the Maple Leafs LTIR until he's cleared to play. With that being said, could we see the 29-year-old play again this season?
"This is months, not days or weeks," Treliving said. "But there's certainly potentially a chance (Murray returns."
