We’re just 67 days away from the start of the Utah Mammoth's season against the Colorado Avalanche at Ball Arena on Oct. 9th.
Unfortunately, the Mammoth have only had 31 players wear numbers so far in their organization's history. So there won't be a post for every day as part of the countdown, but today for number 67, there is one player who has worn it: Lawson Crouse.
Crouse, 28, has spent his entire career with the Arizona Coyotes and Utah Mammoth. Last season, he played in 81 games and had an awful year with 12 goals and six assists for 18 points. Over his career, he has played nine seasons and appeared in 585 games. He has 115 goals and 100 assists for 215 total career points.
Crouse has been a reliable forward for the bulk of his career, however, after this season it has left some wondering if his best years are already behind him. Fortunately for him, he still has two years left on his contract that he can use to turn things around and get back to the level of production he was at before.
The Mammoth jersey number countdown will continue with number 63, which was worn by Matias Maccelli.
