Today is the 2025 NHL Draft Lottery, and the Utah Hockey Club have secured the fourth pick. They entered the night slotted in the 14th spot going into the Draft Lottery. Due to them not being able to move up more than 10 spots, they go from 14 to 4.
This pick gives Utah the option to either add to their roster for the future—or potentially attach it to a big trade this offseason, possibly to bring in another elite player like they did last year with Mikhail Sergerchev. Regardless, Utah now will turn their attention to the remainder of the off-season and figure out next steps with their fourth overall pick.
