Today marks the official release of the full NHL schedule for the 2025-26 season.

For the Utah Mammoth, this will be their second season in the NHL, and expectations are already higher than they were a year ago. Their season will begin with a three-game road trip, starting on Thursday, October 9 against the Colorado Avalanche. After that, they’ll continue on the road for two more games before returning home for their home opener on Wednesday, October 15. That game will be played at the Delta Center against the Calgary Flames.

Looking at the Central Division, the Mammoth are scheduled to play 26 games against their divisional opponents, with 13 of those games coming at home and 13 on the road. Against the rest of the Western Conference, Utah will play 24 games in total, which includes important matchups against the Pacific Division.

When it comes to the Eastern Conference, the Mammoth will play 32 games in total. Every team will face Utah twice, once on home ice and once on the road.

There will also be a league-wide break in February from the 6th to the 24th as NHL players take part in the 2026 Olympic Winter Games.

After just missing the playoffs in their inaugural season, the Mammoth are looking to take another step forward. With a strong offseason and more depth across the board, this could be the year they clinch their first playoff berth in franchise history.
