With the Boston Bruins fighting for a playoff spot, they elected to have a quiet 2026 NHL trade deadline. They kicked off their trade deadline day by swapping prospects in a multi-player deal with the Philadelphia Flyers.

Then, at the end of the deadline, the Bruins announced that they acquired forward Lukas Reichel from the Vancouver Canucks for a sixth-round pick.

While landing Reichel is far from a blockbuster for the Bruins, the possibility of it becoming a good move for the Black and Gold should not be ruled out.
