

Team Canada fought hard but fell 6-2 to the USA in Para Ice Hockey at the 2026 Paralympic Winter Games. This is the third straight Paralympics that Canada will pick up a Silver Medal after falling to the Americans in the Gold Medal Game. As for the USA, they have collected five-straight Golds and have been crowned Para Ice Hockey Paralympic Champions in six of the nine years this event has taken place.
Liam Hicket led the way for Canada with two goals and over 25 minutes played. Dominic Cozzolino and Tyler McGregor finished the game with an assist each. As for goaltender Corbin Watson, he made 20 saves in the loss.
As for Team USA, Jack Wallace led the way with a hat trick and an assist. The Americans also received goals from Declan Farmer, Brody Roybal and Kayden Beasley. Team USA was backstopped by Griffin Lamarre, who made 13 saves.
