For the second consecutive week, Vancouver Canucks defenceman Derek Forbort has set a new career high in Da Beauty League. Forbort followed up his four-assist performance in week one of the 2024 Da Beauty League with a one-goal, four-assist night in a 16-8 victory over Team TRIA. Credited initially with a hat trick, two goals were eventually taken away from Forbort, who finished the night with a career-high five points.

Thanks to his strong performance, Forbort now sits in the top three in multiple categories through the first two weeks of the Da Beauty League season. His eight points are one off the league lead held by his teammate Dennis Cholowski, while his nine points are tied for third-best with Oliver Moore. Forbort now has 30 career points in 18 regular season games at Da Beauty League and extends his point streak to 10 games.

Forbort and Team Element will be back in action next week when they take on Team Walser. Both teams are a perfect 2-0 and have combined for 52 goals through the first two weeks. Game time is set for 4:15 pm PT and can be viewed on Da Beauty League's YouTube channel.
