The Vancouver Canucks continue their four-game road trip with a visit to the Wells Fargo Center to take on the Philadelphia Flyers. This will be the second and final meeting between these two teams during the regular season, with the Flyers taking the first matchup 3-2 in a shootout. Saturday night will also be special as defenceman Tyler Myers enters the exclusive 1,000 NHL game club, joining a list that includes former teammates Alex Edler, Luke Schenn and Thomas Vanek.
As for the game itself, the Canucks need to get a result to ensure they leave the road trip with at least a .500 record. Despite Philadelphia dropping their last three games, this will not be an easy matchup for Vancouver, as Saturday's game will be the Flyers' home opener. That being said, if the Canucks top six can produce, they should be able to leave Philadelphia with some sort of positive result.

Players To Watch
Tyler Myers
Expect a big game from Tyler Myers as he crosses the thousand-game mark for his career. The former Kelowna Rockets defenceman has yet to score this season but could be saving his first goal of the season for the special occasion. Regardless of whether he gets on the scoresheet, Myers will play a significant role in this game and get plenty of opportunities to make the night even more memorable.
Jamie Drysdale
Jamie Drysdale is developing into a special player for the Flyers. The 22-year-old defenceman scored his first of the season in their last game and is getting plenty of opportunities to run the power play. Vancouver needs to be aware when the puck is on his stick, as he can make teams pay if given space and time.
