Both clubs are fighting for their playoff lives and will be desperate for a win on Tuesday. Montréal and Vancouver are also both coming off losses despite outshooting their opponent on the weekend.

The Canucks have a great opportunity to get out of their scoring slump on Tuesday. The Canadiens are allowing the eighth-most goals per game this season and have allowed at least three goals in three of their last five games. If Vancouver can create some offensive zone time and capitalize on the power play, they should be able to skate away with a crucial two points.

Jake DeBrusk:
Jake DeBrusk has had plenty of success in his career against Montréal. In 22 regular season games, he has 17 points, which includes 10 goals. After a disappointing outing Sunday against the Dallas Stars, DeBrusk is one bounce-back candidate who could have a big game on Tuesday.
Brendan Gallagher:
Brendan Gallagher is the type of player every team needs. The former Vancouver Giants forward is a leader on and off the ice and one of the most annoying players in the NHL to play against. While he may not end up on the scoresheet, Gallagher will still be a talking point at the end of the game, as he most likely will be involved in a few post-whistle scrums.
