The Vancouver Canucks kick off a four-game home stand Friday against the Utah Mammoth. While Vancouver will be getting a key piece back into their lineup, they will be missing a significant part of their top six. Here are the lineup notes as per Head Coach Adam Foote.
After missing the past two games, Conor Garland is projected to return to the lineup. The 29-year-old was dealing with an injury, but did participate in practice on Thursday. This season, Garland has 15 points in 21 games and is averaging 20:27 a night.
As for missing players, Evander Kane and Pierre-Olivier Joseph are not expected to play on Friday night. Both missed practice on Thursday due to the flu. Kane has 14 points in 27 games this year, while Joseph has one assist in 11 games.

Lastly, Kevin Lankinen will once again get the start for the Canucks. Friday will be his 15th start of the season and second career start against the Mammoth. This season, Lankinen has a 4-8-3 record with a save percentage of .883.
