Nikita Zadorov, Dakota Joshua and Phil Di Giuseppe had strong games for the Vancouver Canucks in their 4-1 Game 2 loss.

Despite having the majority of possession, the Vancouver Canucks struggled to get pucks on the net, leading to a 4-1 Game 2 loss against the Nashville Predators. Whether it was physicality or shot generation, the Canucks were the better team and arguably deserved a better fate. While Vancouver was unable to leave Rogers Arena with a win, Nikita Zadorov, Dakota Joshua and Phil Di Giuseppe were impressive on the night.
1st Star: Nikita Zadorov
Nikita Zadorov was all over the stats sheet by the end of the game. He scored Vancouver's only goal, two shots, four hits, a takeaway and a blocked shot. The Canucks were also able to control possession when Zadorov was on the ice, finishing with a 13-5 even-strength scoring chances advantage. Ultimately, Zadorov made his presence all night and ended the night as one of the more impressive defenders from either team.
2nd Star: Dakota Joshua
As he has done all season, Dakota Joshua was a wrecking ball. He finished with eight hits, which led both teams, while also recording two shots and a takeaway. The early playoff leader with 14 hits through two games, he was able to build off his performance from Game 1 with a strong showing in Game 2.
3rd Star: Phil Di Giuseppe
Phil Di Giuseppe was noticeable despite playing limited minutes. He had an assist on Zadorov's goal, threw six hits and finished with a blocked shot and a takeaway. Di Giuseppe also saw over two minutes on the penalty kill and played a factor in Vancouver going four for four while down a man. In the end, he did his job and showed why he deserves to stay in the lineup for Game 3.
