Now in his third season, Wolanin's career with Abbotsford has been memorable. He won the AHL Best Defenseman award in 2023 and sits third all-time in points with 115 in 132 games. Wolanin has also spent some time with the Vancouver Canucks, suiting up for 16 games during the 2022-23 season.
After their 5-4 overtime win over the San Jose Barracuda, the AHL Canucks have a record of 29-23-2-1 this season. They have 17 games remaining and currently sit sixth in the Pacific Division.
